What is our labor rate?
Our current labor rate is $135.00 per hour - per worker. This will change to $155.00 per hour - per worker on October 1st 2025.
What do we work on?
We specialize in servicing and repairing marine engines, gears, and generators. We provide this for almost all engine, gear, and generator makes.
What don’t we work on?
We don’t work on vessel’s smaller than 30ft. We don’t do electrical work that is not related to the engines, gears, or generators. We don’t do plumbing, cleaning, or anything exterior to the vessel unless it is engine or gear related.
How much for an inspection?
We give our new clients their first inspection for free. After that first free inspection it is just an hourly charge with the minimum charge of one hour.
How much for a Diagnosis?
For diagnosis we charge whatever our current hourly rate is at the time.
Do we charge travel time?
Yes, however we only charge the travel time going to the vessel. Most other companies in the marine industry charge travel time going to the vessel and back, so you’ll save with us on travel!!!
How much is it for an estimate?
Our estimates are free!!!
How much for a Mechanical Survey?
The base rate for a mechanical survey is $700.00. Additionally we charge $155.00 per hour for sea trial time if needed. To pull oil samples we charge $50.00 per sample.
What does a basic Mechanical Survey Include?
Our basic survey includes a full in depth inspection of the engines, gears, and generators that are on the vessel. You will receive a detailed report that will include the equipment information, as well as all the notes and recommendations we have for your vessel.
What’s the difference between an inspection, and a diagnosis?
An inspection doesn’t involve any actual work other then visually inspecting things and running the equipment. A diagnosis involves troubleshooting and more in depth labor.
